We pledged to frequently update you on the implications of the coronavirus and today are sharing additional actions we’re taking to protect our employees, customers and our business.
When a virus like this hits, it calls into question if all of the normal operations you count on will be stopped. I want you to be optimistic about how we can work around this situation, and at the same time, build the capabilities to handle issues during the disruption and perhaps, making more permanent changes in the future.
To that end, today, we’re taking additional precautions through the following changes:
Travel:
We are extending the restriction on all business air travel, internationally and in-country, until April 17
Visitor Policy:
Effective immediately, only business critical visitors will be permitted at any of our facility. We will now require additional screening of all visitors deemed business critical prior to entry into our facilities.
Remote Working:
I want to continue to emphasize that the business can be run effectively by using virtual technologies. We will all be working remote and virtually. But we’re not “cancelling the business.” This is a fluid and dynamic situation and we must regularly assess “how might we” minimize the effects of the virus through new processes and efforts.
Questions:
It is obvious to have questions. If anyone has questions, please feel free to write to ck@chinmayamconsultants.com/chinmayamconsultants for a prompt reply.
